Edna C. Hoffman, 83, of Sandusky, died Sunday evening, March 27, 2011 in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
She was born January 19, 1928 in Berlin Heights, Ohio and was a 1946 graduate of Berlin Heights High School. Edna was employed for 25 years at the former Pic N Pay Grocery Store, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Sanlorel �Barbie� Club, member and past secretary of the Late Bloomers Doll Club, was an avid "Barbie" doll collector and had attended many "Barbie" conventions.
She is survived by one daughter: Susan (Robert) LaFene of Sandusky, three sons: William F. Hoffman of Sandusky, Jack (Kathy) Hoffman of Edmond, Okla., and Andrew (Kathy) Hoffman of Sandusky, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Hoffman in 1986, her parents: William & Hattie (Aiken) Fey, and three sisters. Funeral services for the family will be held at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Pastor Bill Michaels will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
