Patricia Ann (Naderer) Ward, Thompson, Laux

Patricia Ann (Naderer) Ward, Thompson, Laux, 84, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Monday, December 15, 2014 at Concord Care of Sandusky after a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born on February 25, 1930 in Sandusky, OH to the late Frank and Mabel (Schoch) Naderer.

Patricia was a 1948 graduate from St. Mary's High School. She was employed at Bar Rubber, worked at New Departure for 20 years, Perkins School system, the Ohio Veterans Home and the Board of Elections. Patricia was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Moose Club, Singara Caldron, the Lady Shrinners, V.F.W. Auxiliary, secretary of the Local U.A.W. and secretary of the Women's Bowling League for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed travel, her pets, gardening, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her children, Charles (Cheryl) Ward, Patrick (Michelle) Thompson, LeeAnn (Bill) Ostheimer; step children, Phyllis (Jerry) Gravenhosrst, Maggie Laux, Jan (Howard) Fox, Elaine (Mark) Collins, Robert (Mary Ann), Eugene (Marie) and Bill (Kay) Laux, Rex (Fern) Thompson; grandchildren, Melissa Ward, Angela (Jason) Cagey, Danny Ostheimer, Riley and Prestin Thompson and an extensive number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Laux; second husband, Andy Thompson; sisters, Roselyn Missig, Francis Galloway, Ceil Oswald, Dolores Morris and Lois Beverick; brothers, Bob, Aaron and Frank Naderer.

Friends may call on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 9:00am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky with Father Joe Steinbauer presiding. A private burial service will be held later in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Monroeville, OH.
