Gilbert J. Russett, age 93, of Vickery, died Wednesday morning March 30, 2011, at the Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.
He was born May 16, 1917 in Sandusky, and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He is survived by two granddaughters; two great grandchildren; and sister Lilian.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vivian (Sedgwick) Russett; daughter Sherry Yontz; and his parents.
Friends may call from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM Friday, April 1, 2011, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate.
