Ernestine L. Griffith, 71, of Summerfield, Florida, and formerly of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her daughter's home with her family around her.
She was born October 13, 1943 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the late Norman and Doshie (Williford) Livermore.
Ernie was a Norwalk, Ohio resident prior to moving to Summerfield, Florida in 2004. She retired from Wappler Instrument (ACMI) Company in 2004. Ernie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Bruce R. Griffith of Summerfield, Florida, by her daughters, Michele (Larry) Hale of Clarksfield, Ohio, and Melissa (John) Tackett of Norwalk, Ohio, by her son, Michael (Jodi) Dailey of Inwood, West Virginia, by 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her biological mother, Esther Morris, of Jackson, Arkansas, and by her sister, Pauline Hicks of Conway, Arkansas.
She was preceded by her brother Norman Livermore, Jr., and by her brother, Melvin Morris, and by her sister Ellen Morris.
Friends may call on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio.
