Raymond "Ray" A. Davidson, 58, of Oregon, OH, passed away early Sunday morning, January 11, 2015 in Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Laredo, Texas on May 21, 1956 to the late Donald and Janis (Glass) Davidson. Ray was a 1974 graduate of Sandusky High School, and worked for 30 years for GM in Oregon and Sandusky.
He loved fishing, grilling, drawing and sketching, western novels, and Cadillac cars. He loved to shoot pool, and was a member of Jessie's Hideaway in the Cue Club League. Ray loved being outdoors, and spending time with "The Fellas".
Ray is survived by his daughters, Samantha (Victor, IV) Fronk and Shannon (Benjamin Schoewe) Davidson, both of Sandusky; granddaughter, Bella; sisters, Linda (John) Turnisky, of Sandusky; brother, Steve (Dana Lewis) Davidson, of Sandusky; and nephews.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 4-6 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will begin at 6 P.M. At Ray's request, cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ray's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
