Donal E. Broughton, 94, of North Fairfield, Ohio passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Willows of Willard, Willard, Ohio.
He was born February 17, 1920 in North Fairfield, Ohio, to the late Arthur H. and Retta A. (Hopkins) Broughton, and was a lifelong area resident.
Don was a graduate of North Fairfield High School and attended Ohio State University. He was a lifelong farmer, and was a member of the North Fairfield Lions Club. Don enjoyed reading and going to the library.
He is survived by several cousins, and by his neighbors and care givers, Bob, Bonnie, Chris, and Jennifer Morgan.
Friends may call on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. James Gaston, Pastor of the North Fairfield United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will be in Steuben Cemetery.
