Vera E. Mesenburg, age 76, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born November 25, 1938 in Norwalk to the late Lavern and Hazel Strohmeier.
She worked many years at the former Fanny Farmers and Gaymont Nursing Center. She was a member of the Norwalk Eagles and enjoyed crocheting, gardening and playing bingo.
She is survived by her children, Pam May of IN, Judy Marks of Norwalk, Robert Mesenburg of IN, Cindy (Jeff) Warren of IN, Richard Mesenburg of Norwalk and Kimberly (Cliff) Matlock of Collins; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A service will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home. The Rev. Tom Goossens, Chaplain, will officiate.
