Sylvia M. Timman, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
She was born on July 16, 1939 to the late Fred J. and Willa J. (Tenney) Leigh.
She worked many years for VanDresser in Norwalk, Ohio, and retired from Tenneco in Milan, Ohio. Sylvia was a former member of the Norwalk Moose Club. She liked gardening, decorating, crafts, and enjoyed playing bingo. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Richard J. Timman of Norwalk, Ohio, by her children Richard D. Timman of Norwalk, Ohio, Terry J. Timman of Norwalk, Ohio, Randy A. (Linda) Timman of Norwalk, Ohio, and Amy A. (Michael) Sabo of Castalia, Ohio, by her brother, Jerry G. Leigh of Norwalk, Ohio, by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Lisa K. Timman, by her sister Barb J. Werner, by her brother, Dana J. Leigh, and a grandchild, Danielle N. Timman.
Friends may call on Monday, February 23, 2015, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.
