Fannie M. (Walk) Williamson, 82, of Sandusky, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 16, 1932 in Meridian, Miss. to the late Clemon and Flora (Sloan) Walk.
Fannie attended public school in Meridian, and graduated from T.J. Harris High School.
Fannie was a licensed cosmetologist, and retired from the Erie County Care Facility (The Meadows at Osborn Park). She was a faithful, dedicated member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in senior and mass choirs, and actively participated with the Willing Workers, Sunday School, and Wednesday Prayer Meeting. She had a passion for cooking, and greatly loved traveling to visit her children.
Left to treasure Fannie's memory are her children, Teresia Diane (Timothy) Grace, of California, Charles Lynn Miller, of Sandusky, Kenneth Miller, of Georgia, Michael (Shawn) Miller, of Sandusky, Donna (Renard) Carroll, of N. Carolina, Pamela (George) Woods, of California, and Derrick Miller, of Sandusky; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Loraine Strayhorn, of N. Carolina, and Effie Grace (Leon) Betts and Bobby (Billy) Malone, both of Miss.; brothers, Rev. Dr. C.L. (Ella Grace) Walk and Lee Walk, both of Miss.; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Ola Walk; and brother, William Walk.
Friends may call on Monday, March 2, 2015 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. at Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Rev. Clayton E. Howard will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
