Janice K. Mariea, 52, of Findlay and formerly of Castalia passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born November 5, 1962 in Sandusky to Neil and Dolores (Clark) Mariea and was a 1981 graduate of Margaretta High School.
Janice was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance, Toledo Office and prior to this, she worked at Sprouse Agency in Fremont. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Castalia.
She is survived by her daughter, Hannah (Sammy) Mitchell of Durham, North Carolina; her significant other, Jim Otley of Findlay, Ohio; her mother, Dolores Mariea of Sarasota, Florida; two brothers, Steve (Maria) Mariea of Dover, Ohio and Jeff (Martha) Mariea of Milan, Ohio; one sister, Sharon Mariea of Sarasota, Florida; one step son, Eric (Paula) Lapata of Sandusky; two nephews, Brian (Jen) and Brandon Mariea and three nieces, Madelyn, Emily, Ashley Mariea and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father Neil Mariea,
Friends may call Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5-8:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky with the Pastor Eric Lapata officiating.
