Lorraine H. Boetcher passed away peacefully on February 23, 2015 after a lengthy illness.
She was born to William and Ida Donoghue on May 28, 1925 in Edmonton Alberta, Canada.
Lorraine was survived by three sons, Don and his wife Connie of Norwalk, Dennis of Toledo, and Scott of Erie, Pa. Also surviving are six grandchildren- Donita, Monique, Lauren, Ahrissa, Brooke, and Mitch, and two great granddaughters, Taylor and Jordan. Lorraine was preceded in death by former husband Kenneth and grandson Bradley.
Besides her family, Lorraine was most proud to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 60 years, enjoying many friendships in both the Shelby and Norwalk Congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was especially active in the house to house ministry advocating the end of all suffering and death as promised in the Holy Scriptures. Anyone visiting her remembers how much she enjoyed playing the piano and organ, both at home and in the congregation.
There will be no funeral service at this time, but a memorial celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
