David L. Prentice, 60, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2015 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 24, 1954 in Sandusky.
He loved to shoot pool, and was a member of many leagues. He enjoyed all Ohio sports teams, especially the Cleveland Browns and Indians. He also enjoyed camping. Most important to David, however, were his grandchildren. He called them his "little puppies," and would do anything for them.
David is survived by his mother, Lois (Lusher); children, Donovan Prentice, of Lima, Ohio, Willis "Whopper" (Lynsi) Prentice, Jennifer Prentice, Jaclyn Prentice, and Jeannie Prentice, all of Sandusky; 15 grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Don) Klotz; brother, John (April) Prentice; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Prentice; sister, Jaclyn Prentice; and brother, William "Buddy" Prentice.
At David's request, cremation will take place. Friends may call from 12 P.M. until time of memorial services at 1 P.M. on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Lance Franke will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to his family.
