David Alan Schade, passed with peace and grace on March 4, 2015, with his family at his side.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Howard and Barbara (Wheaton) Schade.
David was dearly loved by his wife, Theresa; son, Christopher; step-daughters, Carla (Gabe) Goodsite, Kaleigh (Andrew) Roeder and Chelsea Turco; step-grandchildren, Gabriella, Gracelynn and Deegan. David was the oldest of 8 amazing siblings, Kathleen (Nipple), John, Steve, Marianne (Heyduk), Joseph, Howard, Trish (Stachowiak), Peter and several nieces, nephews and many loyal and caring friends.
David was born in Oakland, California on December 28, 1945 and moved to Cleveland as a young boy.
He attended West Technical High School. He went onto accomplish his Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification. David was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, NRA, and the Huron Eagles. For many years he was a member of Catawba Moorings, where he was respectfully referred to as, "Fisherman Dave." In David's spare time he was accomplished at woodworking, gardening and perfecting his airbrush painted fishing spoons. David had a great respect for the outdoors. He loved camping, boating, fishing, hunting, cooking and bird watching. David was a humble man about his many talents, and could even fix a broken heart. He will always be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor, and working with his hands.
David was employed by Tinnerman, TRW and Ford Motor Company, finishing his career as a Operational Manager at Ventra Sandusky.
