Marsha Lynn Peoples

Marsha Lynn Peoples, 78, died Wednesday, March 4th, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk Ohio.

Marsha was born November 29th, 1936 in Coshocton OH. She was a daughter of the late Carl and Ethel (Lehman) Peoples of Newcomerstown OH.

Marsha was a 1954 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and a 1958 graduate of Ohio University.
She was a devoted 52-year member of First Presbyterian Church of Norwalk, and she was honored to serve as an elder there.
Marsha was a beloved Kindergarten Teacher within Norwalk City Schools for 33 years, and she was recognized as Teacher of the Year in 1972-1973.
She served at President of the Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International Honorary Teachers Society.
Marsha was an avid sports fan and steadfast supporter of all Cleveland Sports as well as The Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a patron of the arts and truly enjoyed attending Firelands Symphony Orchestra events, as well as Cyndy Kniffin Dance Academy Ballet Performances. She also enjoyed attending summer productions of the Huron Playhouse.

Marsha is survived by her brother Lawrence R. Peoples and his wife Rosemary (Miller) Peoples; Niece Shari Lynn Junqueira, her husband Gil, and Great Niece Gianna Lynn; and Niece Shelley Cline and her husband Dennis; and family friend Kay Kersey.

Marsha loved her family very much, and she enjoyed spending time with them whenever she could.

Friends may call at Walker Funeral Home in Norwalk on Tuesday, March 10th, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Norwalk at 11am on Wednesday, March 11th, with Reverend Adrian Doll officiating.
