Beatrice Strimpfel, 81, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015, in Twilight Gardens Home, Norwalk, Ohio.
She was born to the late Basil L. and Alice M. (Meyers) White, and was a life-long area resident.
Beatrice was a 1951 graduate of Norwalk High School, and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She worked in the cafeteria at Western Reserve Middle School for many years, at the Holiday Inn in Sandusky, Ohio, and was a day care provider in the area. Beatrice enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling, singing with her grandchildren, and going to the casinos with her son. Beatrice mostly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Ron (Pat) Strimpfel of Bluffton, South Carolina, Candy Finley of Rockwall, TX, Mark Strimpfel of Norwalk, Ohio, Krista (Ed) Wagner of Collins, Ohio, Dawn (Bob) Stetzel of Hanahan, South Carolina, Scott (Kara) Strimpfel of Norwalk, Ohio, Trisha Schaffer of Norwalk, Ohio, Shane Strimpfel of Sumpter, South Carolina, Kyle (Jessica) Strimpfel of Hanahan, South Carolina, and Tiffany (Joe) Eichelberger of Louisville, Ohio, by her brother, James (Margaret) White of Willard, Ohio, by 34 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and a great grand-son soon to be born.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her brothers, Eugene White, Joseph White, and Thomas White, by her sister, Laura Mae Nickoli, and by her son in law, Dan Finley in 2014.
Friends may call on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Msrg. Kenneth Morman will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
