Viola Marcella Wagner, age 97, of Bellevue passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Bellevue Care Center.
She was born in Reedtown, Ohio on February 21, 1918 the daughter of John and Ida (Schreiner) Stockmeister.
Viola was employed at the GE Lamp Plant in Bellevue and also worked for many years as the Lounge Manager at the former Jolly Lanes. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Viola enjoyed spending time at her farm.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Claudia) Wagner of New Jersey, Rodney Wagner of Bellevue; Three grandchildren, Cole (Michele) Wagner of Chicago, IL and their daughter Emory Wagner, Casey (Hailey) Wagner of Jersey City, NJ and Jennifer Wagner of Bellevue and her 4 children; and one sister, Irene Ball of Jackson, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Art (Bernadine) Stockmeister, Leonard (Irene) Stockmeister; and sisters, Agnes (Orrin) Warner and Mary (Harold) Bogner.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 6-8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue, and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A funeral Mass will then be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
