Floria Owens age 89 of Fremont passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Fremont Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 5, 1925 in Haysi, VA the daughter of the late David and Cosby (O'Quin) Raines.
Floria was a homemaker.
She was a member of Little Bethel Old Regular Baptist Church.
She was an avid Camper and enjoyed reading the Bible, crocheting and quilting.
Survivors include her son; Danny Perkins of Fremont, daughters; Lucy (Rick) Zieber of Findlay, Marilyn (Ken) Hughes of Fremont, Gail Myers of West Mansfield, 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and sister, Ethel O'Quinn of VA.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Owens whom she married Dec. 27, 1952 in Clintwood, VA, Daughter; Loretta Owens and daughter in law Linda.
Friends will be received Monday, March 23, 2015 from 4 - 7 pm at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy, Clyde and again at Little Bethel Old Regular Baptist Church, SR 228, Green Springs, OH from 7:30 pm Monday until the funeral service begins Tuesday at 10 am at the church. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
