Lillian M. Pedoli, 91, of Sandusky, peacefully passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2015 at Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
She was born December 23, 1923 in Caerphilly, Wales to the late Henry and Florence (Petherick) Brown of Exeter, England.
She met and married her husband in Exeter and then came to the United States as a war bride in 1945. Lillian was a loyal member of the Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church, the Chaplain for the Womenâs Auxiliary of VFW Post #2529 and was named Woman of Excellence by them for her volunteer work in 2005. She enjoyed needlework and especially being with her dear friends of many years, Ruth and Kathleen.
She is survived by her sons, Martin D. (Linda) Pedoli and Mario M. Pedoli both of Sandusky; one daughter, Marsha Young of Ypsilanti, MI; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Martin Pedoli in 1975, her parents and her sister, Kathleen Copley.
Friends may call Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5-8:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky and on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at the Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church, 2401 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. The Rev. Paul Atkinson will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sandusky.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky or the donorâs favorite charity.
