Danny R. Kesterson, 62, Sandusky, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning in Stein Hospice Inpatient Unit, Sandusky.
Danny was born October 3, 1952, in Mason City, WV, and attended Lakeside-Marblehead Schools.
He served in Germany during Vietnam in the United States Army and later was a laborer in several local factories. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia, whom he married May 4, 1995; daughters, Tonya of Germany and Dawn (Tobie Gough) Guba of Marblehead; sons, Richard of Port Clinton, Scott of Boston, MA, and David of Sandusky; step-daughters, Veronica Taylor and Samantha (Tony Jones) England, both of Sandusky; step-son Anthony Taylor of Sandusky; eight grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; sister Darla Kesterson of Tiffin and brother Dennis Kesterson of Marblehead.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Virginia (Allensworth) Kesterson; sister, Deanna Kesterson; and brother, David Kesterson, who died while serving in Vietnam.
Friends may call on Friday from noon until time of funeral service at 1PM in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
