Ronald David, 51, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 7, 2015 at Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness.
Ronald was born on October 14, 1963 in Sandusky, OH to Sherry (McDonnell) Lewis and the late Albert David II.
In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, being by the lake and driving in the country. Ronald was an avid lover of animals and nature, and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his cat, Maggie.
Including his mother, Ronald is survived by his lifelong friend of 28 years, Tracy Thompson; step-daughter, Holly Thompson; step-son, Joshua Thompson; step-grandchild, Kason Thompson; brother, Albert "Ted" David III; aunts, Dolores Larkins and Mae Bango; nieces and nephews, Crystal, Steven and Meg and several other relatives.
In addition to his father, Ronald is preceded in death by his brother, Todd Schlett and his special uncle, Grant Kennedy.
Friends may call on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Mel Saylor presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
