Margaret A. (Didion) Walker, age 67, of Norwalk, died Saturday, November 06, 2010 at the University Hospital in Cleveland.
She was born August 30, 1943 in Bellevue to the late Sylvester and Estelle (Missler) Didion. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and being feisty.
She is survived by her children, Todd Walker of Norwalk, Chris (Hank) Allender of Norwalk, Tammy Walker of Norwalk, Margie (Rick) Bodeker of Vermilion and Heidi (Joe) Heitsche of Collins; siblings, Dorothy (Edward) McKenzie of Clyde, James Didion of Bellevue, Betty Strohm of Plymouth, Richard (Arla) Didion of Sandusky, Thomas (Sandy) Didion of Bellevue, Gerald (Marlene) Didion of Bellevue, Ronald Didion of Bellevue, David (Nancy) Didion of Bellevue and Frank (Joanne) Didion of Norwalk; grandchildren, Ashley and Shelby Fielitz, Amanda and Brandy Allender, Taylor and Carmen Heitsche, Abbey and Ryan Bodeker; great-granddaughter, Haley Nickoli; and her dog, Angel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Walker in 2005; son, Jeffrey Walker in 2008; brothers, Michael, Robert and Donald Didion.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 38 W. League Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Francis J. Speier, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
