Dawn M. Becker, 90, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at Providence Care Centers.
Dawn was born on October 16, 1924 in Sandusky, OH to the late John and Esther (Heidl) Becker.
Dawn attended the Oral Deaf School in Fremont, where she received her education training. She was employed at the Sandusky coal docks and was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Sandusky Blue Streaks football games, traveling to Florida every winter with her sister and spending time with her dog, Buffy.
In addition to her parents, Dawn is preceded in death by sister, Virginia Becker.
Friends of Dawn would like to extend a special thank you to Providence Care Centers and Stein Hospice Care Center for all the love, caring and compassion they showed to her.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky with Rev. Jan Smith Wood presiding. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
