Lee Winkle, age 60 of Fremont was called home by his Savior Jesus, while he was sleeping on Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Lee was a godly man, a loving and devoted husband; a kind and caring father, grandfather, brother and faithful friend.
He was born Sep. 20, 1954 in Fremont, the son of the late Kenneth "Bub" & Jackie (Ireland) Winkle.
Lee was co-pastor at the Assembly of Christians Church in Lambertville, MI and also a project estimator at Damschroder Roofing.
Survivors include his wife, Pam (Carnicom) Winkle whom he married Sep. 10, 1976, children; Jackie (Nate) Ross of Alaska, Sarah (Andrew) Perry of Dayton, Dana (Greg) Vassar of Fremont, Faith (Tim) Svendsen of Virginia, 11 grandchildren and his sister Cathy Brown of Waterville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9:30 am until the memorial service begins at 11:00 am at Grace Brethren Chapel, 1820 SR 590 Gibsonburg, OH.
