James "Jim" "Brownie" E. Browne, 66, of Milan, passed away early Sunday morning, May 3, 2015 in his home.
He was born on November 17, 1948 in Sandusky, and was a graduate of Sandusky High. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.
Jim retired from Delphi after 33 years of service, and was most recently employed by Okamoto.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sandy Browne; children and step-children, Cindy (Bob) Hill, Shellie (Jim) Bing, Cente' (Kim Newman) Santana, and Shay Santana; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Jack, Drew, Macie, Avery, Haylie, Xzavier, and Alexis; brother, Tom (Deborah) Browne; mother-in-law, LaVaughn Bobo; nephew, Kenneth Browne; and beloved pet, Wednesday.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward J. and Mary Margaret (Pfefferkorn) Browne; and nephew, Gregory Browne.
At Jim's request, cremation will take place. Friends may greet the family from 3-5 P.M. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Rd., Sandusky. A memorial service will begin at 5 P.M., with Pastor Ben Driver officiating. Military honors will immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Erie County Humane Society, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
