Shawn Timothy Updike, 36, of Fremont passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital.
He was born September 1, 1978 in Fremont the son of Timothy James and Linda Carol (Daugherty) Updike.
Shaw was a 1996 graduate of Clyde High School and a devoted father to his five sons.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Perez) Updike whom he married August 13, 2005 in Fremont. His father, Timothy Updike of Fremont; Five sons: Marcos, Mario, Anthony, Shawn Jr., and Evan of Fremont; and a sister, Dawn (Jamie Johnson) Updike of Fremont.
He is preceded in death by his mother, and grandparents.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4 p.m. until a funeral service begins at 6 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Hwy., Clyde, OH 43410
