David Morgan Dunham

David Morgan Dunham, 60, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Cleveland Clinic after a 2 ½ year battle with cancer.

He was born January 12, 1955, in Wooster, Ohio, and resided in Norwalk, Ohio for many years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Dunham, and by his step father, Roger Arzt.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Mary Beth (Dixon) Dunham, by his mother, Elaine Arzt, by his step mother, Helen Dunham, sisters, Jann (Jeff) Drennen, Sally (Paul) Stratton, Mikki (Brent) Devore, Debbie (Mike) Moss, his brother, Jim Dunham, and by his aunt, Janet Dorsey.

Dave is also survived by his daughters, Amanda Griggs, and Molly Dunham, as well as his step children, Josh (Becky) Thurston, Jay Curtis Thurston, Kelly (Bill) Frey, and Kristi (Ray) Wyant, 10 grandchildren that he loved dearly, several nieces and nephews, and very close friends.

He was a 1974 graduate of Edison High School. Dave enjoyed spending time with his wife, whom he loved dearly, as well as his family. He also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping, and hunting, and was an avid Ohio State Wrestling fan. Dave was an avid Monday night men's pool league member.

He was an Iron Worker for 21 years, in which 10 of those years was with Associated Steel. Dave finished his employment as a Laborer for Local 480 where he held a seat on the executive board. He was a volunteer firefighter for both Berlin Twp. and Milan Twp. Fire Departments. Dave was also an active member of AA. For the past 2 ½ years Dave worked along-side his wife, bathing dogs at MB's Pooch Parlor. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him and will forever be in our hearts.

Please join us in celebrating his life on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Walker Funeral Home located at 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, May 16, 2015, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, followed by burial at St. Mary Cemetery. Msgr. Kenneth Morman and Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate
