Terry Roger Nolan, 60, Sandusky, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at University Hospital in Cleveland, after a 12 year battle with coronary artery disease and congestive heart failure.
Born February 28,1955, in Sandusky, to Sabra and Joe Nolan, he grew up in Huron, graduating in 1974 from Edison High School/EHOVE. Terry's senior year was
highlighted with being part of the Edison Wrestling team and receiving the "Most pins" award.
A drafter/designer, Master welder and Laser programmer, Terry received his education from EHOVE (Welding/Blueprint reading), BGSU, Firelands (AutoCAD), Terra Community College (Electrics) Bystronics of Chicago, IL (Laser with advanced programming). He worked at Milan Steel Fabricators (Roth mfg.), Thomas Steel Inc., Bellevue, and from 1984-2009 Fabriweld Corp/David Price Metal Services of Norwalk. The need for a pacemaker/defibrillator forced an early retirement but also gave him precious time relearning to play the guitar, writing and singing songs, reading books, and going on adventures with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife Terri Lee nee. Brunow (Sandusky), whom he married November 11,2001; daughter Libby (Steve) Ware (Norwalk); step-son Zach (Maria) Meisler
(Sandusky); grandchildren, Ethan, Austin, Luke and Lily; brothers Randal (Diane) of Norwalk, Jerry Michael (Chris) of Collins, Lindy Joe (Jody) of Huron, Dexter (Kathy) of Texas, and Dale (Denise) of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews; sister in law Jan
(Steve) Tunnell; brother in law Steve (Joyce) Brunow; brother in law Dave Braun; father in law William (Marian) Brunow; and his buddies Whiskers and Queena.
Preceding him in death were his parents Sabra and Papa Joe Nolan; sister in law Linda S.
Braun; and brother in law Scott Harter.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place, burial will be at Meadow Green
Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio. A celebration of Terry's life will take place at a future
date.
Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, Castalia, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers and memorials, a trust fund for his grandchildren: Ethan, Austin, Luke and Lily's college educations, has been set up thru Key Bank, 2532 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
