Ruth A. Adelman, 89, of Monroeville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at her home.
We are sure that the Lord has wrapped his arms around her and taken her home to be with the love of her life, Alvin, to whom she was married 55 years.
Ruth, a lifelong homemaker, also worked as a cashier at Monroeville Schools cafeteria for over 20 years and always enjoyed her job and the children.
Ruth will be greatly missed by her children, Mike (Melodie) Adelman, Dan (Carolyn) Adelman, Dave (Marcia) Adelman, Amy (Steve) Clark, Ray Adelman, Bob (Geri) Adelman and Ann (Dave) Beck. She will also be greatly missed by her 19 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Adelman; two sons, Allan and Ronald; her parents, sister and brother.
Friends may call Friday, May 22, 2015 from 4-8:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. Funeral services for the family will be held Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the funeral home. Fr. Bill Pifher will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroeville.
