Janis L. Fearing, 82, Castalia, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born on September 14, 1928 in Attica, OH.
Janis was employed by Barr Rubber, Sandusky Foundry, and retired in 1988 from the former New Departure Hyatt, Sandusky.
She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Sandusky, the American Legion Post 83, and loved to golf, watch the Cleveland Indians, travel, and spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Terry (Lonnie) Payne, Castalia, OH, and Sherry (Michael) Esposito, Sandusky; grandchildren, Erin (Ryan) Schnittker, Marcee Esposito, Erik (Heidi Hershberger) Payne, and Allyson Payne; a great- grandson, Gianni Schnittker; sister, Norma (Richard) Weber, Mansfield, OH; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles William Armitage; second husband, Frederick Fearing; parents, Robert C. and Margaret C. (Hull) McClelland; daughter, in infancy, Janet Lee; and a sister, Eileen Rogers.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in Attica-Venice Cemetery, Attica, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
