Juanita "Mamaw" Harmon, 98, Huron, was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on Monday, June 22, 2015, in Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
She was born on February 14, 1917 in Linton, Indiana, and also called Evansville, Indiana and Huron, Ohio home.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Huron. Juanita loved spending time with her family and attending Sunday church services and breakfast at Berardi's after. Extremely patriotic, Juanita worked in defense plants during World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War.
Juanita is survived by her loving son, Gary (Dona) Harmon; grandchildren, Justin Harmon and Jennifer (Charles) Capizzi; and great-grandchildren, CJ and Cassidy Capizzi.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Lawrence Harmon; and beloved granddaughter, Lauren Harmon-Griffith.
Friends may call on Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 10 A.M. until time of memorial services at 11 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, 930 S. Main St., Huron. Rev. Mandy Oleson will officiate. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery, Huron.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Juanita's name to Zion Lutheran Church.
