Dorothy Mae Green, 79, of Sandusky, departed this life Saturday, July 4, 2015, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 23, 1935 in Helena, Arkansas, to the late Willie and Idella (Franklin) Green.
She leaves to carry on her legacy, her children, Ambrose (Juanita) Miller, North Carolina, Lawrence Douglas, Chicago, IL, Kenneth Green, Alfred Douglas, Richard Green, Terry Montgomery, Leeshann (Rose) Green, Myrtle (Tyrone) Griffin and Doris Green all of Sandusky; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Miller, Sandusky; adopted daughter, Shirley Waites, Chicago, IL; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Larry Miller.
Friends may call on Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in the Assembly of Jesus Christ Church, 3510 Beatty Ave., Sandusky. Elder Johnnie Cross will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
