Christopher Michael "Cruise" Pool, 33, of Sandusky, transitioned to glory on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on July 8, 1982 in Sandusky, to Evangelist Regina Pool and the late Minister Kevin Fuqua.
Christopher attended Sandusky High School. He was a former employee of Cedar Point and Reese Brothers.
He was a member of Emmanuel Temple Church, where he served faithfully on the Junior Usher Board, Boys to Men, Children's Choir, Asst. Sunday school teacher, and the drama department, in which he wrote various Christian plays for the church. He recently received the 2015 Young Men's Award.
Chris loved to cook, grill, draw, and write poems. He was very comical and loved to rap. A dedicated father that loved his children and was known by his family for always saying, "I Love You".
He leaves to cherish his memory, loving mother, Evangelist Regina Pool, Sandusky; children; Jazlynn Petrick , Nathan Petrick , and Christopher Petrick, all of Dayton, OH, Avante Pool, and Jaylon Pool of Pennsylvania, Caden Nopper, and Alana Downing both of Norwalk, OH, Anthony Griffith and Jaden Pool of Huron, OH; brothers, De'Shawn, Anthony, Felix, and LaDonte, all of Sandusky; sisters, Taywon , Sandusky and Jeanine of North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Evelyn Jean and Lawrence "Bubba" Fuqua, Sr. Sandusky; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Minister Kevin Fuqua; maternal grandparents, Deacon Edward and Mary Pool, step grandmother, Eva Pool; uncle, Clarence Pool and cousin, Nathaniel "T.K." Pool.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, from 10 A.M. until time of Home Going Services at 12 P.M. Noon in Emmanuel Temple Church, 128 E. Adams St., Sandusky. Dr. Bishop Rufus G.W. Sanders will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
