Wyona Profitt, 71, of Republic passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Fremont Pro Medica Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 22, 1944 in Sergent, KY the daughter of Troy and Zerta (Adams) Meade.
Wyona was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clyde where she enjoyed to attend services. She enjoyed gardening, playing on her Ipad, garage sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, David Profitt, whom she married December 23, 1961 in Whiteside, KY; Her four children: Lloyd (Regina) Profitt of Republic, Linda (Troy) Senger of Minot, ND, Denise Profitt of Green Springs, and David Profitt Jr. of Clyde; 6 Grandchildren: Jonathon Profitt, Robert Senger, Jennifer Senger, Kyle Profitt, Hailey Profitt, and Madelyn Profitt; Two brothers, Pete Collier and Gene Collier, both of Dayton and a sister, Martha Smith of Dayton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Pearly Cook, Pinus Collier, Junior Collier, Leonard Collier, and Nana Lou Collier.
Friends will be received on Monday, July 27, 2015 from Noon until a funeral service begins at 2 p.m. at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson Highway, Clyde. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
