Rose M. (Moore) Kent, 81, passed away late Thursday, July 30, 2015 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to the late Samuel A. and Phyllis T. (Mikeal) Wright in Chester, West Virginia and lived in the Norwalk area for most of her life.
Rose attended the Milan Friends Church in Milan, Ohio and she provided foster care and day care from 1985 to 1991.
She is survived by her sons, Robin E. (Kathleen) Moore of Bellevue, Ohio, David R. (Carolsue) Moore, of Norwalk, Ohio, Thomas E. (Linda) Moore, of Norwalk, Ohio, and Brian K. (Brenda) Moore of Norwalk, Ohio. Rose is also survived by her daughter, Dawn M. (Robert) Pfeiffer, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her brother, Malcom Rudder, of Chester, West Virginia, by her sisters, Phyllis Smith of Upland, California and Shirley Farnsworth, of Wellsville, Ohio, by 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert R. Moore, brother, Samuel Wright, and an infant brother, and an infant sister, by 1 grandson and 2 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p .m. and Tuesday, August 4, from 10:00 a.m. to the time of service at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Pastor Mary Dickenson will officiate. Interment will be at North Fairfield Cemetery following services.
