George Wallace "Mike" Lofties, 56 of Sandusky, departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 2015, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born on November 26, 1958 in Sandusky to the late Walker and Juanita (Bailey) Lofties. Mike graduated from Sandusky High School in 1976.
He loved God, life and family. Mike enjoyed sports being a Cleveland Browns fan. Baptized at Providence Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Emeritus Rev. Samuel Mickels and Pastor Scottie Aaron, and was also affiliated with Greater New Life Church COGIC.
Missing him already are his daughters, Tiera, Jasmine, Shiquita, Remeshia, Talia and Tatyana, all of Sandusky, Constance, Destaney, and Mike'easia all of Waynesboro, MS; sons, William, Demetrick (Tashonya), Shuncy, James, Marquez, and Mykelle, all of Sandusky; a host of grandchildren; brothers, Wesley, Curtis (Sheri), and Robbie (Angela) all of Sandusky, Floyd (Lesiene) of Templehill, MD, and Othel of Muskegon, MI; aunts, Gertrude Walker of Clifton, TN, and Leola Bailey of Sandusky; nieces and nephews; God parents, Rev. Samuel and Mildred Mickles; special friends, Tania, Tracy, Dorothy, Jackie, Pattie and Benard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 6, 2015, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery.
