Darlene Lieb, 58, of Sandusky, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in her home after a lengthy, four-year battle with cancer.
She was born on May 6, 1957 in Norton, VA to the late Artemous Buddy Jackson and Annie Allene (Baker) Jackson.
Darlene was a homemaker, working tirelessly to take care of her home and family.
She loved her dogs, Buffy and Puddles. She also enjoyed Facebook games, making many new friends. Most important, however, to Darlene was her family. She cherished her time with them, taking special delight in her grandbabies and great-grandbabies.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Brian Lieb; daughter, Teresa Jackson; sons, Buddy ("Andi") Jackson and Dan (Tricia) Lieb; grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Shawna, Seth, Andy, Rory, Leelan, Faith, Cruz, and Natalie; great-grandchildren, John and Mackenzie; sisters, Trish and Sandy (Mike) K.; brother, Terry; special family, Denny Lieb and John and Lisa Landoll; and special friends, Tony and Sarah.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dustin.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 4-7 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. on Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Samuel Studer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Darlene's memory to her family.
