Delbert E. Rowe, 65, residing in Castalia, passed away late Wednesday evening, August 12, 2015 at Parkvue Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was born on December 16, 1949 in Sandusky, Ohio to Jane (Berkey) Jagger and the late Kenneth Rowe.
Delbert was employed at the Mack Iron Works Company for 44 years until his retirement in March of 2015. In his spare time, he enjoyed doing yard work, remodeling his house, riding his Harley, watching the Cleveland Browns and spending time with his family.
Delbert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia (Lazzara) Rowe, whom he married on April 21, 1972. He is also survived by his daughter, Brandy (Tim Stoll) Rowe; son Brian (Angela) Rowe' grandchildren, Raquel, Savannah, Jaycie, Skyler, Josiah and Michael; sister, Sherry Jefferson; brother, Conrad (Joanie) Rowe; special friends, Paula Rowe, Bill Keller and Bob (Tammy) Rieger and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his father, Delbert is preceded in death by his brother, Barry Rowe.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 11:00 am with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.
