Thomas K. Aigler, 96 formerly of Bellevue, passed away August 13, 2015 at Glacier Hills Assisted Living, Ann Arbor, MI.
He was born March 14, 1919 the son of the late Allan G. and Magdaline (Knapp) Aigler.
Tom graduated from Oberlin College and served in the United States Army. Arriving in Mexico in 1947, he earned master degrees in Spanish and Spanish Literature at Mexico City College. Subsequently, he taught Spanish, French and Latin. He generously shared his talent with all; singing in church and at weddings, playing the piano and organ for the choir, the Lomas Ballet Theater, the Colegio Israelita and at special services. He served as organist and soloist at Union Church, Mexico City, Mexico for more than 47 years. He was former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bellevue.
Tom enjoyed traveling the world, photography and spending summers in Lakeside, Ohio.
Tom is survived by his nephews: Mark (Irene) Aigler and Thomas (Linda) Aigler; nieces Jane (Miahael) D'Angelo, Joan (James) Lancaster and John (Linda) Aigler.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; John Aigler and William Aigler.
Private services will be held.
