Mar’Quies Terell Louis, Sandusky, infant son of Shanté Pride and Najee Louis, died shortly after birth, Monday, May 2, 2011, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his parents; maternal grandparents, Gina Pettis, Sandusky, and Starling Pride, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Jonathan Spearman, Sr. and Cheryle Louis, both of Sandusky; maternal great-grandparents, Charlie and Lois Pettis, Sandusky; paternal great-grandmother, Melba Louis, Sandusky; special aunt, Sharice Pride; special great-uncle, Michael Pettis; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-great-grandparents, John and Katie Augustus, Willie and Marie Pettis, Cora Jane Pride, and Leo White.
