Larry K. Carswell, 63, of Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 31, 2015, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Larry was known for being a handyman and landscaping for many households in Sandusky.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Larry was an active member of AA.
He is survived by his companion, Vanessa Medina; sons, Larry Carswell Jr. of Ravenna, OH, and David Medina of Sandusky; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Jean Carswell; grandmother, Gladys Ward; grandfather, Early B. Carswell; and great-grandmother, Estella Lamm.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 5, 2015, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11 A.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial with military honors by the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will take place in Oakland Cemetery.
