Karen S. Canter, 53, Castalia, the precious mother of Brenda C. Baum, Sandusky, Lisa M. (Jeremy) Black, and Russell L. (Kristen) Canter, both of Castalia, went to Heaven to praise our Heavenly Father eternally on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 3:30 P.M., in Firelands Reg. Medical Center, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Besides her beloved children, Karen leaves behind her deeply loved and treasured grandchildren, Donovan Cole, Wayne Baum, Paige and Natalie Black, and Russell Canter; her dear brother, Donald (Grace ) Staley, Sandusky; brothers, John (Gena) Staley, Olena, and Leroy (Millie) Staley, Norwalk; her sister, Michelle (Steve) Signs, Norwalk; and many nieces and nephews.
Karen will join her sister, Mary Wells; her brother, Andrew Staley; her mother, Hazel (Suggs) Griffen; and her father, Franklin Staley, in Heaven.
Please join her family in celebrating her life and seeing her off on her journey on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, where friends may call from 12 Noon until time of funeral services at
