Maria R. Vick, 56, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born January 1, 1959 in Collins, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident.
Maria was a 1977 graduate of Western Reserve High School. She was a 39 year employee of Industrial Powder Coating Co. and was currently employed at Poly One, Norwalk, Ohio. Maria was a former member of Eagles Aerie #711 Auxiliary, Norwalk, Ohio. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Maria is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert L. Vick of Norwalk, Ohio, by her daughter, Donita M. (Steve Weisenberger) Leimeister of Norwalk, Ohio, by her grandchildren, Austin, Alyshia, Garrett, Seth, Skylar, Kallie, and Draven. She is also survived by her siblings, Mark Leimeister of Collins, Ohio, John Leimeister of Collins, Ohio, Joe Leimeister of Norwalk, Ohio, Mickey Howk of Norwalk, Ohio, Marcie Felver of Norwalk, Ohio, Shirley Carroll of Berlin Heights, Ohio, Jenny Oney of Bellevue, Ohio, Judy Shadiwck of Collins, Ohio, Mona Hauler of Norwalk, Ohio, Janice Russ of Lodi, Ohio, and Jill Alvarez of Mansfield, Ohio.
Maria is also survived by her step brothers, Tom Ryan of Lorain, Ohio, and Joe Ryan of Lorain, Ohio, by her sisters in law, Ruth Vick of Norwalk, Ohio, and Ida Mae Vick of Mansfield, Ohio, and by her brother in law, Homer Null of North Fairfield, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.
Maria was preceded in death by her daughter, Roberta L. Vick in 2013, by her mother, Marjorie (Riley) (Leimeister) Ryan, by her step-father, Joe Ryan, by her father, James Leimeister, by her brother, James Leimeister, and by her sister, Midge Wittmer.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the Crossroad Community Church, Gibbs Road, Norwalk, Ohio. Pastor Molli Payne will officiate.
