Ronnie Jay Moore, age 50, of Jacksonville, FL., died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in Jacksonville.
He was born Dec. 23, 1964, in Fremont, OH.
He was employed and a member of the Lowe's family for the past 7 years. He was a passionate follower of old rock and roll music and an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed traveling to New York with his wife, appreciated the outdoors, and loved days in the park with his dogs Max and Jenny.
Ron leaves behind his wife of 29 years Patty; his mother Bonita Galindo of Sandusky; his friend, brother, and confidant Scott (Debbie) Moore of Jupiter, FL., brother Ray Moore of Sandusky; two sisters Teresa (David) Jordan, and Pam (Ken) Hoy both of Sandusky; two step brothers Keeno (Janet) Galindo of Castalia, and Charles (Mary) Galindo of Sandusky; his step mother Joanne Moore of Bellevue; nieces, nephews, and many friends who will miss his quick smile and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Moore and his step father Keeno Galindo.
Friends may call from 10 - 11 AM Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, in Castalia Cemetery with Pastor John Paputza officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Congregational United Church of Christ, 205 Main St., Castalia, OH 44824, or to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
