James R. Mazur, 60, residing in Vickery, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015 in his home.
Jim was born on August 30, 1955 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late John and Opal Mazur.
Jim was a Journeyman Machine Repairman at KBI. He was a lifelong avid hunter and fisherman; Jim enjoyed sharing this love with his family and friends, hosting amazing fish-fry's and get-together's.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sherry (Kuns) Mazur. He is also survived by his sons, Jason (Molly) Mazur of Port Clinton and Nickolas (Ella) Mazur of Huron; grandchildren, Kirsten Lorge, Jordan, Logan, Evelyn and Isaac Mazur; brother, Robert Mazur of Rossford; sisters, Beverly (Gordon) Solze of Castalia and Barbara Mazur of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews as well as other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by a grandson, Noah Mazur.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Friends may also call on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11:00 am in the funeral home until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm with Pastor Lewis Slusher officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
