Louise Thompson, age 78, of Bellevue, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, in the University of Toledo Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 6, 1936, in Ironton, OH, and loved being with her family and friends.
Louise is survived by 2 sons James (Chris) Thompson of Georgetown, KY, and Robert (Portia) Thompson of Castalia; 6 grandchildren Robert D. Thompson, Brandy (Jason) Bennett, Angela (Jim) Lehman, Casey (Johnny) Fortuno, Douglas (Serena) French, and Derek (Nickie) French; 3 great grandchildren Britain and Ireland Bennett and Carlie French; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Thompson in 1995, her parents Charles and Garnet (Abrams) French; one daughter Christy S. Missler in 2013, 2 grandsons Doug Arnold in 1994 and James Thompson in 2009, and a brother Roy D. French.
Friends may call from 4-7 PM Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015, in the Ransom Funeral and Cremation Service, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, Sept. 25, 2015. Pastor John Paputza will officiate and burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
