James L. Winter III, 5 months, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.
James was born on April 3, 2015 in Toledo, OH to James Lawrence Winter Jr. and Lisa M. Spragg.
James was a happy, strong, little soldier, who fought every day. He was the light of his parents' life.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by his sisters, Destiney and Melody; brother, Dominic; paternal grandparents, James (Rose) Winter Sr.; maternal grandmother, Karen Whetstones; paternal aunt, Kera Winter; paternal uncles, Jeremiah, Justin, and Brendan Winter; as well as numerous other relatives.
James is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, James (Janet) Winter and Raymond (Mildred) Bailey; paternal great uncle and aunt, Logan (Denise) Jordan.
Private family services will be held. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
