Mary Katherine Ryan age 93 of Rocklin CA, previously of Bellevue OH died peacefully on Sept 23, 2015 with family at her side.
Mary K was a warm, kind woman of quiet faith who cultivated friendships well into her eighties. She was a member of the Mary Lay Foundation at Our Sorrowful Mother Shrine and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of her parishes. She loved following politics, the Cleveland Indians and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Her Irish hospitality was evident by the frequent gatherings on the front porch of her home, known affectionately as "808", which had an open door, a kitchen table where there was always room for more, and the aroma of a freshly baked pie. Above all she treasured time spent with her family, whether at her home, during frequent gatherings at Cape Cod or Lake Tahoe.
