Beverly Jane (Chase) Hipp, age 49, of Norwalk, died unexpectedly, Thursday, September 23, 2010 at her residence.
She was born February 5, 1961 in Norwalk and was a 1979 graduate of Western Reserve High School and won the Governor's Award for her art work. She was a member of the Bronc Busters 4-H Club for many years, a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church , Eucharistic Minister and its Women of the Church, also helped with the church festival. She loved to take pictures, work in her garden and canning the harvest. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was employed by the Norwalk City Schools and she created beautiful cards for family and friends celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.
She is survived by her husband whom she married on August 11, 1990, Thomas L. Hipp of Norwalk; son, Anthony Hipp at home; parents, Ron and Barb Chase; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Richard Schaffer; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Tracy Chase; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Elizabeth Hipp; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dan and Sharon Mouch, Steve and Debra Winkle, Jay and Paulette Ewell, Jerry and Pam Reichert, Ed and Carolynn Ciersezwski, Gregory Hipp, Kevin and April Hipp; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Lucy Schlegelmilch and Gerald and Gladys Chase.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1360 Settlement Road, Norwalk, Ohio. The Rev. William Pifher, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
