Denzel A. "Bud" Pocock, 83, of Sandusky, died Monday, October 12, 2015, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on December 6, 1931, in Green Creek Twp., OH.
He was employed by G & C Foundry for over 50 years, and also farmed for Rathburns and Sanfords.
He was a member of the Sandusky Eagles, Amvets Post 17, Sandusky, and the Norwalk Moose. He loved watching the Cleveland Indians.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela K. Hanck, Sandusky; son, Timothy J. (Kim Easter) Pocock, Sandusky; grandchildren, Lisa, Errin, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Brooklynn, Braden, Ava, Ella and Willow; a great-great-grandson, Bentley; sisters, Iona (Gilbert) Weyer, Castalia; Alma (John) Toft, and Phylis Wadding, both of Sandusky; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine in 2002; parents, Clifford and Emma (Martin ) Pocock; daughter, Patricia Morey; sister, Thelma Miller; brothers, Wayne Pocock, Claude Pocock, and Bernard "Abe" Pocock.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 4-8 P.M. in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
