Frances Teresa Cline, 89, of Huron, passed away late Saturday afternoon, October 10, 2015 at The Vista Center of Milan, following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 6, 1926 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Roy E. and Elsie F. (Ruffing) Giles.
Frances was a graduate of Norwalk St. Paul High School. She then attended Providence Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse, before retiring in 2015 after 59 years of service. She was a member of The Red Hat Society and was a standing member of the Huron Garden Club. Fran enjoyed helping others. She volunteered her time to many local charities and organizations.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail (William) Lehmann; grandson, Jeremy (Anna) Lehmann; her great-granddaughter, Charlotte; three sisters, Elizabeth Hickey, Rose Mary Driscoll and Mary Ann Giles; many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, John W. Cline; her two brothers, Roy and William Giles.
At the family's request cremation will take place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fran's name may be made to Volunteers of America, 2710 Walton Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44113 or to Habitat for Humanity, 7602 Milan Rd. Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
